Zummo’s Coffee shop in the Greenridge section of Scranton is quite a delight with fine imported coffees and an intelligently chosen selection of complimentary foods, for either the breakfast seeker or the early evening couple. From muffins to quiche the choices are delectable. The owner and staff are quite sweet and very knowledgeable of their coffee. Mary Tellie the master roaster is always on point with her descriptions of the various notes one will taste in these worldly offering of beans. Wireless internet access is available – lending itself to the business clientele – but unlike the other coffee shops in town Zummo’s maintains a surprisingly calm atmosphere in which diligent work is always capable.

Though I’ve never been there my co-workers frequently take their lunch here. I here nothing, but good things. They did bring me back a sandwich once, a panini of some sort – mushroom I think. It was pretty good. Not too heavy, a decent lunch. Lite fare.

They close at 4pm now so that was a bit annoying to me.
