Dionysus Downtown is organizing a wine-tasting bus trip to Seneca Lake, NY, on Sunday, August 23, and there’s still time to book a seat.

The trip will stop at Lakewood Vineyards where guests will take a tour of the winery and have a chance to actually go down into the vineyard on the shore of the lake.

Next the trip heads to Castel Grisch Vineyard for a tasting of their 17 wines. And leaving the west shore, guests will head to the east side of the lake and Chateau Lafayette Reneau
to continue tasting.

After Chateau Lafayette Reneau, you will visit two of the most popular vineyards on Lake Seneca, Hazlitt and Wagners Vineyards.

Cost is $65 per person which includes transportation, all tasting fees, lunch, a wine 101 course, tour of Lakewood Vineyards and a souvenir glass. For more information or to RSVP, call 570-344-3388 or write to mj@dionysusdowntown.com.

Dionysus plans a series of trips to the Finger Lakes between now and December. The next trip will visit the Cayuga Lake region and is scheduled for September 27.

Hello, I was wondering if you might be running a wine trip to Seneca Lake this year anytime, preferably on a Sunday.

    Thanks, Stan
