This Saturday, starting at 8am, the Lackawanna River Corridor Association will be celebrating 25 years of clean waterways, conservation and the local environment with their annual Riverfest! Festivities kick-off at the Oliver St. Bridge with a Canoe-Off and continues throughout the day, with music, food, kayaking and ending with the highly contested Duck-A-Thon (prizes available!). Regatta building and competition will also be on hand, with awards at the end of the day as well.

The LRCA works with local, state and federal agencies to foster conservation in natural areas, upland watershed lands and promote stewardship in the surrounding natural environment. For more information on their mission or RiverFest, place click here!
