One of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s biggest food and wine events returns this weekend when Misericordia University hosts igourmet.com’s Third Annual Fork & the Cork.

The events features gourmet food by local and international exhibitors along with some of the world’s best wines and beers. Industry experts will be on hand to provide visitors information on wine pairings, cooking demonstrations and more.

This year’s event will also include a focus on greener living with a spot light on sponsors, partners and products  that share in that commitment.

The event begins tonight with a winemaker’s dinner from 6-9 p.m. at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre. And tomorrow will feature a full day of seminars and tasting. Visit the website www.forkandthecork.com for more information.
